Class of 2024

Congratulations to our Matrics of 2024!

Congratulations, Class of 2024 You did it!

A message from your Class Guardian

Dear Class 12,

Did you know that the number 88 is Morse code shorthand for ‘love and kisses’?

We are never too old to learn!

Your school journey has come to an end …

As with all journeys it is not the length of the journey that matters, but rather the quality, the experiences we gained and the lessons we learnt.

Although not all of you have been at our school for most of your schooling career, those of you who joined only in High School have participated in the activities, made memories, and learnt valuable life lessons. The rest of the group have been very welcoming and supportive. Each one of you have brought your own gifts to the group. I am proud to say that you have cared for and supported each other unwaveringly and I thank you for that.

As you are splitting paths, I pray that you will stay connected with each other and your teachers and continue to encourage each other and hold each other accountable.

Set your goals high and always dream big! You are only as big as the dreams you dare to live.

I wish you all the best for successful studies and happy lives.

Much love,

Mrs Trish Godlonton

To our teachers, a heartfelt expression of gratitude for your commitment and steadfast care for our students' well-being. Your dedication has been instrumental in their success.

Michael Mount’s purpose goes beyond solely guiding our students towards a good matric. Our dynamic Waldorf curriculum nurtures each student, that they may develop consciously as individuals, going into the world as

“free human beings who are able of themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives.”
~ Rudolf Steiner

Subsequently, we take this moment not only to celebrate their academic achievements, but also the well-rounded, conscious, self-assured human beings they have become.

May this year’s Class 12 students, the Class of 2025, enjoy a full, engaging, and rewarding matric year.  And may all in our community enjoy this year’s Waldorf journey. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school next week.

Kind regards
